As a bit of completely unrelated basketball trivia . . . can you name this former coach, and now athletic director?

You remember the D1 Scheduling Scandal of 2006: (http://spartanhoops.com/html/news_story.php?news_ID=1596)
Unconfirmed reports of new 2008 scandals at Los Angeles City College, and involving Coach Michael Miller have arisen on the Internet . . .
Again I say that I cannot ascertain the validity of the information quoted below, but I think it important to let the public decide.
I found the information quoted below at the following location:

Quoted material in green:
There is a "scandal" similar to the one at Ventura/Oxnard College involving Miller.
The LACCD - Los Angeles Community College District has been given a 70-page letter and over 600 pages of exhibits concerning "14 allegations" against Miller in late June.
They are keeping everything hush-hush as there's pending litigation because Miller is suing the former president Steve Maradian.
(1) players being given grades for not attending class, as I worked in the athletic department and received a winter session 2008 grade for a class never attended and it was setup by Miller. I received a "B."
(2) two players being paid for 20-25 hours per week since Sept '07 and through June '08 and they were not working (signing in and out during hours that they had class) the players that he recruits are the brightest bunch.
(3) Mack Cleveland was hired in mid to late Jan 2008 but paid from Oct 15, 2007 - Feb 22, 2008 and none of the women basketball coaches or players know who he is. He used a Los Angeles address, but all the paperwork I turned over to the district is from out of state. He was hired to do out-of-state recruiting for Miller. Yes, Miller does recruit!!!
(4) players adding classes 5-9 weeks into the semester, which the normal student would not be able to do & they don't have to turn in the missed worked.
(5) Bobby Fisher played at Bakersfield College this past season and his cousin Branden Fisher played for Miller at LACC. Miller had Bobby enrolled in 12 units at LACC while this player was attending classes and playing at Bakersfield College. They made it to Stockton to the final four. Two of the classes that Miller enrolled Bobby in were on Mon & Wed from 7-8:30 am and from 1:50-3 pm. How do you drive 125 miles one way to make it to practice in Bakersfield from LA in rush hour traffic? If I would not have reported this situation to the district Bobby would be playing at LACC in 2008-09.
(6) Each and every year since 1996, 2-4 out-of-state players are being misclassified for tuition. In an investigation conducted in 1996 by the district, Miller had 6 players "misclassified" and they owed the district $28K in tuition. Each and every year the LACCD is losing $10-30K in tuition from this situation. Three players from the 2007-08 team were classified as "military residents" but their parents aren't in the military. Two of the players applied for and received "financial aid" fraudulently. Players are transferring to 4-year schools owing the district thousand of dollars in tuition and they are getting their official transcripts to take with them.

Jay Brown played for Miller in 2006-07 and he spent the 5 years before that in Georgia. On his Form 1 - Student Eligibility Form, he lied about his "residency and listed Morningside HS in Los Angeles (we all know that it is in Inglewood), as the school he graduated from.
Jay attempted 60 units in one year at City, completed 48 and received his AA degree. In 2005-06 at Georgia Perimeter College, he only completed 18 units. It's funny how all of a sudden players become, "Rhodes Scholars" when they arrive at LACC.
This is how they are graduating so fast. Jay cheated the district out of $10K in tuition from the 2006-07 season, and received a scholarship to Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I contacted the NCAA and there's nothing they can do to punish Jay.

These are just some of the things that are going on that people aren't aware of. It's funny how Miller has a double standard when it comes to reporting schools for violations.
He had information about two schools in the SCC - South Coast Conference that may have had "ineligible players playing" but he waited till the last minute to report the violations so that he could keep his conference titles in order. LACC has won 14 straight conference titles but his plan backfired on him.

Yet, in late 2007 and early 2008 Ron McClurkin (former head men's basketball coach - Oxnard College), was at LACC a few times talking to Miller. Ron didn't know that I use to work at Oxnard College with a language school on campus and I went to some of their games from '98-'03 when I lived in Oxnard. I saw him on campus with Miller and he was giving him "advice" on how to leak the information about Oxnard College having players wrongly "classified as students" but yet Miller has been doing this same thing since 1996 and not once, has he reported himself.
He's all about ego, using people and making money. The players would not confirmed this but I know in my heart, they were handing over their financial aid checks to Miller and he was "rationing" out their money so they would not blow it all in one weekend. All of the players lived across the street in an apartment building that I'm sure Miller or a friend owns and he is getting "kick backs" from this. The D-1 Scheduling scandal that got Wayne Morgan fired from Iowa State in 2006 is all about Miller being paid for signing his players.
The two players that are sophomores, that are being paid for not working, needed my help in filling out two money orders and addressing an envelope. Miller hired a former all-state player from his 2005-06 team to be an assistant coach for the 2007-08 season and he graduated with his AA degree, but he couldn't fill out the job application. I had to hold his hand and look over every form he filled out to make sure it was correct and no information was missing. That W-4 tax form was "kicking his ass" and we had to fill it out three times.
Even with all the information that I turned over to the district, Miller is still going strong. I don't understand why they are still letting him stay on as the Athletic Director. This guy has no "morals, values or ethics" those works don't exist in his vocabulary, and he's running an athletic department. What does that say about the district?
This last thing that I will write "speaks volumes" about Miller and his priorities. His father passed away in late Feb/early March 2008, bless his soul! Miller had his dad sign over his business while on his death-bed, and his business partner or wife new nothing about this. This is how bad Miller's, "money-driven!!." Please check out the article:

Unfortunately, this whole situation had been a "battle" and I'll stay with it as long as I need to in order for "justice" to be served. The administration at LACC has known for sometime what is going on within the men's basketball program and the athletic department, but they tend to look the other way and now I understand why.

Many people have reported different "incidents or situations" and it seems that Miller always come out clean.
I went to the Board of Trustees meeting this afternoon at the LACCD district office at 3:30 pm and had a chance to "speak" to them about what is going on, and how they need to do the right thing.
They are aware that there's an investigation but naturally, can't comment on it. The president of the school , Dr Moore was present at the meeting and so was Miller's boss, Dean Allison Jones.
She is his immediate supervisor and they should both be "fired" at the same time, as she allows this stuff to go on. Miller helped her son get an online degree and she "owes" him from this situation. I don't understand why people would put their jobs and families in jeopardy for this guy.

From what I was told at the meeting, the investigation should be wrapped up within the next week or two.
My focus today was to make sure the Board of Trustees know what Miller has done and how Mack Cleveland should not be hired in any capacity because of the "coaching stipend" he was paid, $10K for not working with the women's team, but he was paid for out-of-state recruiting. I wish I could get $10K and work from mid to late Jan to mid Feb, like Mack did.

It's funny you should mention the parents. There's one sophomore from the '07-'08 team and his parents came and spoke to Miller in mid March about his college choices for next season. He had his office door open and I got sick of the "bullsh*t" after 45 minutes I had to leave and take a break.
Miller tells the parents, " that they need to get their son motivated so he can graduate and help place him at a 4-year school."
Miller tells the parents, " that they need to get their son motivated so he can graduate and help place him at a 4-year school."
The player was coming off the bench and Miller wanted to kick him off the team in mid January because he wasn't performing but kept him around. He goes on to tell them about how, "all the grades on his transcripts that are " A's or B's" are due to Miller getting him those grades and anything from a C - F is the players effort or lack off." This player is upset because he's not going to a major Division 1 school but he can't even get up, walk across the street to school for class, and Miller's putting the blame back on his parents. Why as a coach would you not have this conversation with them when this player a freshmen? I saw his laziness and lack of motivation then. This is classic Miller, not wanting to take responsibility but passing the "blame or buck." He's good at throwing people under the bus when the opportunity presents itself.
Recruiters have to "pay" Miller to recruit and sign his players. None of the players know which schools are looking at them. Miller shops them around and sell them on the deal that's best for him and not the player. I heard a "rumor" that Mack Cleveland sent Miller Jay Brown whom played two season ago at City, '06-'07 and this is why he got the $10K and promise of more money. This would also explain why Mack is rumored to be the next head coach.
The sad part is that some of these guys can't read or write when they graduate and the success they have at the 4-year level is minimal. The real world sets in when they have to go to class and do their own work. No one will be to "hold their hand" and do everything for them like Miller does. I just shake my head about this whole ordeal.
I'll keep you all posted on what's happening with M&M - Mike Miller and Mack Cleveland (Former Southwest Community College assistant coach).
The district attorney is involved....and just yesterday the DA was seen interviewing Miller and they were trying everything they could to get him to talk....
