As a bit of completely unrelated basketball trivia . . . can you name this former coach, and now athletic director?

After hearing about the allegations and potential investigations regarding LACC former head coach and Athletic director Mike Miller on the web, I am surprised to see those data sources shut down or erased.
When someone referred to a "cover up" I thought they were being premature, and a little silly. However, now there is mounting evidence of a force at play that seeks to silence anyone who would ask questions about Mike Miller or LACC.
I now list for your consideration some changes I have noted on the interenet in regard to Google searching: Los Angeles City college Men's Basketball Head Coach & Athletic Director Mike R. Miller.
1.) JC Scores Forum: Access Denied!
- The JC Scores, Men's Junior College Basketball Scores Forum, also known as "California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association
- This JC Scores forum used to be open to the public, with all posts displayed freely on the internet, and required no creation of an account, and one did not need to give them personal information.
- Now, it is required that one register and provide both an email address, and telephone number (required!) before you can see the posts.
- This change took place in the last several weeks, after a list of the allegations against Athletic Director Mike Miller of Los Angeles City College, were listed publicly on the JC Scores forum.
- Now, you cannot easily access the allegations without providing personal information.
- Fortunately, before JC Scores Forums made these changes, I copied and pasted, from their site, the main allegations against Mike Miller at this location: http://thehostmirror.blogspot.com/2008/08/scandal-2008-coach-mike-miller-of-los.html
- Likewise, There was a post referring to the 2008 Mike Miller and LACC allegations on SoCal Hoops.
- Rather than make it necessary for people to sign in to view these public posts, the SoCal Hoops people simply erased the post!
- A cached snapshot of the missing post and replies to it can be found on Google, but as a courtesy, I cut and paste them here.
- Here is the cached page : http://72.14.205.104/search?q=cache:kUtTEoq6lkYJ:www.socalhoops.tierranet.com/newmenswwwboard/messages/95310.html+mike+miller+scandal+2008&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=11&gl=us
- Here is the original page that no longer exists: http://www.socalhoops.tierranet.com/newmenswwwboard/messages/95310.html
- and here is a cut and paste of the cached page:

: : : I love basketball, but I prefer my ball clean and upstanding.
: : : I don't know if this is geunine, but may be worth a read through. TONS of surprising and sordid info there.
: : : Link to info: http://www.jcscores.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=532
: : : Quote from link:
: : : "There is a "scandal" similiar to the one at Ventura/Oxnard College involving Miller. The LACCD - Los Anggeles Community Colege Distric
t has been given a 70-page letter and over 600 pages of exhibits concering "14 allegations" against Miller in late June. They are keeping everything hush-hush as there's pending litagation because Miller is suing the former president Steve Maradian. "
: : Theonly people that are surpirised about the "LATEST' allegations are poeple that do not follow JC basketball in California.
: people that don't know Mike Miller
: Kevin Menner who goes to Saddleback was on that VC team last season!3.) http://coachmiller.net - Removed from the internet.
- I also found it interesting that LACC Men's Basketball Head Coach's personal website is gone, and that he transitioned to the position of "Athletic Director" without any mention of these changes on the LACC website NEWS pages: http://www.lacitycollege.edu/public/news/
- I think it is odd to mention a new Women's Head Basketball coach , without mentioning that your winningest Men's Basketball Coach of all time . . . . is no longer Head Coach of Men's Basketball? Or, is he both "Athletic Director" and "Men's Basketball Head Coach?"
- To try to find out if Mike Miller is both Men's Basketball Head Coach, and Athletic director, or one or the other, let's head over to the LACC Men's Basketball webpage . . .
- Here is the Google cached snapshot of www.coachmiller.net = http://72.14.205.104/search?q=cache:RudzHtGNmX0J:coachmiller.net/bio.html+coach+miller.+net&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us
- Unfortuneately, the LACC Athletics web site Men's Basket ball section is a flash-tastrophy so that I cannot supply direct links of interest.
- Suffice it to say that the Los Angeles City College Men's Basketbal Athletics Web Site is located here: http://athletics.lacitycollege.edu/basketball/men/index1.html
- Several interesting things to point out: click on the "Staff" button . . . you will, as of right now, find NOTHING. No Coaching staff are listed for LACC Men's basketball.
- They still List Mike Miller as the Head Coach of Men's Basketball on the athletics pages, and other pages refer to him as "Athlet ic Director"
- But, if one looks at the LACC Athletics Web Page Department Contacts, they will see that Mike R. Miller is "Athletic Director & Head Coach, Men's Basketball"
- You can take classes with Mike Miller . . .
I think the following quote from SoCal Hoops sums up perfectly what may be going on here:
"And love him or hate him, but LACC he ad coach Mike Miller is also one very successful head coach, particularly if you measure success by a State title and consider that he's helped send 31 of his players to Division I schools in the last 7 years, a pretty admirable record."
Of course the above quote references sending players to D1 schools, without mentioning the 2006 Mike Miller LACC scandal that related to the Company D1 Scheduling . . . read more about that here: http://www.spartanhoops.com/html/news_story.php?news_ID=1300
Or, perform a google search for "mike miller D1 scheduling" to learn more about that.
What we have seen occur in the past month:
- Any discussion or questioning of the conduct of LACC's Head Coach & Athletic Director, Mike Miller, on public Basketball forums will be erased, destroyed, and squelched . . .
- Of course, you are still free to discuss how many games he wins, or his excellent coaching skills
